Golden State WrestlingSHOCKWAVE XtraJune 06, 2001A recap of last nights Shockwave plays,then a massive explosion of golden pyros explode,as the camera cuts to the anouncers table: CO:Fans welcome to this very speacial SHOCKWAVE XTRA,last night I said the battle royal would belast night but no,Mr.Joker informed me it will be tonight. BR:That's great not only do we have that battle royal for the Lightweight Title but,2 great matches,let's get started. The lights go out around the arena. Metallica's "Don't Tread On Me" begins to boom from the speakers, the lights go dim and the fans see the shape of a huge man appear at the ramp way. Razputin seems to enjoy the immense boos he is receives. He raises a mike up: Razputin: I'm should not even grace you low lifes with the thrill of seeing me. The true evil will step into that ring with the most awesome martial artist, technical wrestler and not to mention stand-up comedian in this dead beat federation Thunderfoot. Thunderfoot joins his partner and takes the mike as more boos ring out around the arena. Thunderfoot: So everybody, looks like we Killer Instinct is gonna be number one, and there's nothing all those bleep Hawaiian punks can do about it! Razputin: The Evil Cult is the most dangerous stable in this entire league, teams like Armies of Darkness, Hawaiian Punks, and all others are nothing in comparison, so beware we are here. (Crowd boo incessantly) MS: Now entering the ring, the team of Thunderfoot and Razputin, weighting 797 pounds, Killer Instinct! CO: That is one dangerous looking team. I would not want to meet them alone at night. BR: Thankfully for you they have the Hawaiian Gods to face. That should give them something to consider. A beautiful Hawaiian sunset is played in fast motion on the Shock A Tron. Multicolored lei fall from the rafters of the arena. A screaming voice yells over the PA, "Here come the Hawaiian Gods!!!" Fast-paced luau music follows. Ukupanipo the Shark God walks hastily to the ring followed by the slightly limping Makkaio. MO: Now entering the ring weighting a combined 513 pounds Ukupanipo and Makkaio the Hawaiian Gods. CO: This should be a good match up, Hawaiian Gods vs Killer Instinct. BR: I would have to put my money on... Surprisingly Jackyl's Headed for Destruction blares from the speakers and Maxwell Hunter and Brandon Drake walk to ring side flanking their manager Brink. They have a brief talk with the ref, who gets a smile and a nod from Joker, and then tells Michael Shanks something. MS: And also weighting 500 pounds the team of Maxwell Hunter and Brandon Drake: the Twilight Renegades. CO: That was a surprise. Still two wrestlers with some real experience. Just last Shockwave we saw these two put on a show with Rowdy Roddy Jones and Cool Callum. Everyone knows they have issues with the Hawaiian Gods. BR: And that match became a blood bath. This night is looking up. As the wrestlers size each other up, Joker calmly walks to ring side with Dark Justice and Jake Justice. After a brief conversation with Michael Shanks, Joker makes his exit. MS: And the final team in this elimination tornado style match is: The Eliminators, weighting 462 pounds Dark Justice and Jake Justice! CO: Surprise never end here today. Tornado style means all the wrestlers in the ring at once and elimination means no quick easy win, but three of these four fine teams will leave with a loss. BR: Total chaos, I like it. And Dark Justice has a score to settle with Brandon Drake. Brink jumps up on the ring apron to distract the wrestlers, but unsurprised Ukupanipo runs Maxwell over with a clothesline and Dark Justice catches Brandon with a body slam. With an evil grin Thunderfoot lands several martial arts kicks into Makkaio's leg dropping him and then locks on a painful leg lock. Razputin locks up with Jake Justice and drives a thumb into his throat, hoist him up and drops him on Makkaio. Giving up their advantage on the downed Twilights Ukupanipo and Dark Justice double clothesline Razputin over the top rope. Thunderfoot counters with a Thunderstrike super kick, sending Ukupanipo over the top rope. Dark Justice sling shot suplexs Thunderfoot and rolls on him for the pin 1,2, kickout. Razputin and Ukupanipo start brawling on the floor. As the Twilights are up again, Brink climbed on the apron yelling at Jake Justice and manages to distract him, Maxwell drop toe holds Jake and Makkaio stops Brandon from dropping on Jake by throwing Brandon to the floor. With a backwards roll, Max tries a drop kick on Makkaio and knocks him thru the ropes. Jake grabs Max in an arm bar, arm twist and ends with a hip toss. Dark Justice looks at Jake to see how he is doing and Thunderfoot catches him in a power slam pin 1,2 Jake breaks the pin. On the floor Brandon attacks the weakened Ukupanipo, but before the double team beats him down Makkaio joins the battle and evens the fight. Inside the ring, Thunderfoot Thunderstrikes Jake as he checks on Dark Justice. Cover for the pin 1,2 Dark Justice uses a rolling pin on Thunderfoot 1,2,3. Dark Justice leaps up after the pin and into a drop kick Maxwell Hunter has been waiting for. Max lands on the still stunned Jake and covers 1,2,3. As the ref sends the agrueing duo of Thunderfoot and Razputin to the back, The Eliminators wish the Hawaiian Gods luck and leave without the ref pushing them out. MO: And the first victory goes to Dark Justice pinning Thunderfoot at seven minutes fifty eight seconds. The second victory goes to Maxwell Hunter pinning Jake Justice at eight minutes ten seconds. -Commercial- CO: Now we are rejoining the in ring action as the ref had to summon the other refrees to make sure Killer Instinct would leave. This has given the wrestlers a break but they still seem hurt. BR: Oh they are fine. Here we go. Slower this time Ukupanipo locks up with Brandon Drake and overpowers him and suplexs him. Maxwell ducks Makkaio's lock up and leg sweeps him. Trying for the easy win Max hooks the leg and covers 1, Ukupanipo kicks Max breaking the pin. Drake crossbody blocks Ukupanipo and covers 1, kick with authority. Makkaio grabs Max's arm and forces him to the mat, holding his arm outstretched Makkaio drops a knee on it. Drake trying to come to his partners aid gets irish whipped, back body dropped, and then butt dropped by Ukupanipo. Cover 1,2, Brandon forces a shoulder up. Max suffers thru the pain and spins the move into a chicken wing on Makkaio. Ukupanipo stands to go to his partner and Brandon grabs his leg, so he drops back on Brandon again. Max releases the hold and rushes over and catches Ukupanipo with a back brain kick. As both Twilights stand over Ukupanipo, Makkaio hits a double clothesline. Ukupanipo and Makkaio cover and 1,2 double kick out. They help them both up and send them into the ropes and the Twilight Renegades hold on and slide out of the ring. The Hawaiian Gods soak in the cheers of the fans and seem to grow stronger. Brink has a secretive huddle with her guys. Going back in they lock up again and try for the Hawaiian Gods eyes right away but get punched once, twice, and then score Twilight gets a double eye rake. Both gods drop holding their eyes and wasting no time Brandon rolls Ukupanipo into the Widow Maker. Max rushes to the top rope to the boos and chants of cheaters of the crowd, and comes off with the Max Press on Ukupanipo completing the End Of Days. Screaming in pain Ukupanipo passes out. Makkaio's vision seems better as he bulldogs Brandon before the ref calls the match. Max lands several kicks on Makkaio as he is down and then applies the ankle lock. Brandon drops an elbow on the twisted leg and then ankle locks the other one. Makkaio suffers the pain and pulls both Renegades to the ropes. The ref calls for the break 1,2,3,4 and they break. Ukupanipo struggles to his feet, and rushes both members with a double clothesline but Max ducks and Ukupanipo hits Brandon and the ref and knocks them over the top rope. Max pushes Ukupanipo over the top and to the floor. Confused and still hurting Makkaio catches Max in a roll up and only the crowd is able to count the three. Ukupanipo exchanges blows on the floor with Brandon as the ref manages to make it back into the ring. Seeing Max pinned he slowly starts the count 1,2, kickout. Max drops a possible low blow on Makkaio and get the Max Intensity locked on. Ukupanipo drops Brandon with a double axe handle blow and stops short of the ring cause Brink gets in his way. As he shoves Brink out of the way, Makkaio can not take it no more and taps out. The ref calls it ding, ding. MS: And the winners at twenty two minutes forty seven seconds of the third victory and the match, the Twilight Renegades. The crowd roars it's disapproval and Ukupanipo rushes to Makkaio side as Max, Brandon and Brink limp away. CO: That was an incredible match. I hope we see these teams matched up again. BR: You know we will cause the Joker only wants the best for GSW fans. CO:Now fans it's time for the Battle royal,the rules are simple either pin someone,make 'em tap,or throw their behinds over the top rope. BR:Yeah and the last two in get to go at it for the Lightweight Title later tonight. The arena dims ,pyros explode,"Duck and Run" by 3 doors down starts,and Koron Daleus is attacked from behind by Elk Roberts who grabs Koron by the head then throws him in the ring.Once both wrestlers have entered the ring and referee Fred Conner is in place in the ring with his outside referees Tom Birch and Drew Willis in place, the bell sounds and the battle royal is on. Koron launches a fast series of kicks and then locks Elk up with a arm bar. Elk powers out and effortlessly lifts Koron up and smile at the ropes. Koron stops the possible elimination with a rake to the bigger wrestlers eyes. Dropping down behind Elk, Koron lands a solid low blow on Elk and locks on a STF as the crowd is counting down the seconds 9.8.7.6.5.4.3.2.1. AC/DC's "TNT" brings the crowd to their feet. MS: And number three from Scotland, Rowdy Roddy Jones. Entering the ring Rowdy Roddy Jones takes a second to hear Korons bargain as Elk is on the verge of giving up. With a smile Rowdy accepts the arrangement and Koron pulls hard on Elk. The smile that crosses Rowdys face is telling and the Rowdy Elbow is landed on Korons undefended head. The crowd goes wild as Rowdy twists Korons arm behind his back and listens to him scream. Elk struggles to raise and Rowdy kicks him back down showing no friendship. Koron uses the distraction to reverse the hold into a chicken wing on Rowdy. Elk manages to make in to his feet as the two exchange arm holds and the count starts late 5,4,3,2,1 "Dope Show" by Marilyn Manson sounds out. And a wrestler runs from the back towards the ring. MS: And number four is Hardkore! Grabbing a chair and sliding into the the ring, Hardkore rushes the fight. Slamming the chair down on Rowdy, Hardkore watches him stagger back. Koron tries to dodge but the steel chair but it finds its mark knocking him flat. Fred argues the use of the weapon and Hardkore lands another blow on Rowdy, who still will not fall. Fred grabs the chair and both lose control and it falls free. Now standing Elk rushes and spears Hardkore into the fallen chair. Both wrestlers roll on their backs and Rowdy falls on them both for the cover. The crowd watches instead of counting down as the ref slap down 1,2, and they both manage to kick out. Godsmack's "Whatever" fills the arena and a wrestler wearing a leather jacket and wrestling shorts slowly makes his way to the ring to the crowd's disapproval. MS: Vincent Vazzi is the number five man in the battle royal. Hardkore and Elk began a viscous double team on Rowdy opening him up. Koron adds a few kicks of his own and then Elk power slams him for the pin 1,2, kick out. Vincent is still outside the ring removing his jacket. Regaining his feet Rowdy exchanges arm bars and closed fists with Hardkore. Koron takes several body slams as Elk seems to have his second wind. With everyone busy, Vincent quickly goes to the top rope and lands The Hit (Missile Dropkick) on Rowdy Roddy Jones, knocking him hard into Hardkore and against the ropes. Being the newest man in, Vincent has the energy to jump up and flip the rowdy scot over the top to the floor. MS: Rowdy Roddy Jones is eliminated. The count down starts as Vincent goes for the double by eliminating Hardkore. 9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 Prodigy's "Firestarter" announces the next wrestler rushing the ring. MS: En Fuego is in at number six. En Fuego is in the ring before the announce finishes. He rush the man who eliminated his stable mate, attacking Vincent with a flurry of blows and saves Hardkore. Seeing the opening Elk takes up the challenge of throwing Hardkore over and easily lifts him and then drops him as Koron rolls him up 1,2, kick out. Hardkore hooks Koron in a backslide and 1,2,3. MS: Koron is eliminated. Vincent has hip tossed En Fuego and locks a restful head lock on. Elk attempts to toss Hardkore out and both are knocked down by a double clothesline compliments of a vengeful Koron before he leaves. The count sounds late again 4,3,2,1 "Boom" by the Blood Hound Gang blares across the arena. MS: And number seven... Tommy Bedlam. Tommy moves quickly to the ring and takes time to view the action. Vincent loses the headlock and tries a armdrag takedown, but is caught and dropped with a reverse DDT by En Fuego and the cover with a ref out of place 1,2, shoulder up. Elk and Hardkore regain their feet and lock up, go behind by Hardkore, reversed by Elk, german suplex by Elk and Hardkore is staggered and Elk excutes two more without letting go and then a holds him to the mat 1,2, Tommy breaks the pin with a splash on the pair. Tommy tries the pin on them both and is kicked out by Elk before the count. En Fuego slams Vincent into place and goes to the top rope. The crowd stands and the count goes 9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 MS: Lord Thomas Baldwin is the eighth man. As En Fuego looks over at his target, Tommy rushes him for the easy elimination. Changing targets En Fuego hits the Backdraft (Flying Elbow) on Tommy. Elk drops on Tommy for the 1,2, En Fuego throws him off and takes his place 1,2 Vincent drags him off and whips him into the ropes. Hardkore leaps on Tommy and 1,2, kick out. Lord Thomas Baldwin pulls the top rope down and En Fuego falls over the top. Hardkore is lifted up by Elk and then shifts him into a rolling craddle 1,2,3 MS: En Fuego and Elk Roberts are eliminated. Tommy invites Lord Baldwin to join the match and he slowly enters the ring. Hardkore and Vincent take a moment to rest. The count down 5,4,3,2,1 "Dragula" by White Zombie brings the all black and pentagram covered wrestler to the ring. MS: And number nine is Darian Merlan. Darian attacks Hardkore before Lord Thomas Baldwin touches a wrestler. Fully rested Darian lands a series of closed fists, an armdrag takedown, and a head drop. Tommy and Thomas lock up and exchange arm bars and chicken wings back and forth. Vincent covers the fallen Hardkore and is pulled off by Darian, who returns to beating Hardkore with kicks to the head and face. Thomas gains the advantage with a reverse atomic drop followed by a single leg takedown and leg twist. Vincent watches the two pairs fight. Darian headlocks Hardkore and tries to busted him open with many closed fists. Bedlam kicks Thomas off and tries to stand and Thomas catches him in big slam position. Taking his moment, Vincent chop blocks Thomas and Tommy lands on him 1,2, Vincent grabs his leg to prevent the kick out, 3. MS: Lord Thomas Baldwin is eliminated. And the crowd counts again 9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 The sounds of Tequila fill the air and a wrestler rushes the ring. MS: Masked Jobber X is in at number ten. Tommy is victim of Vincent's hip toss, when like a house of fire MJX irish whips Vincent into the rope and catches a good drop kick. Hardkore has summoned the strenght to fight back and lifts and drops Darian straddling the tope rope and trys to push him over. Spying the bad spot they are in MJX irish whips Vincent into the two. Darian falls to the floor and Vincent and Hardkore hang on. With a heroic rush MJX crossbody blocks them both over the top, but fails to grab the top rope and joins them on the floor. MS: Darian Merlan, Hardkore, Vincent Vazzi, and MJX are eliminated. Stunned by being the last man in the ring Tommy Bedlam rest while awaiting the last man. The crowd rings out the final count 9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 and a man wearing all black with a mask appears he takes his time going to the ring,he walks up the steps,puts one foot in the ropes,then the other... DING!DING!DING! MS:"Tommy Bedlam and the mystery man have advanced to the Main Event." BR:These 2 men will get to rest,like the mystery man needs it,and return to battle for the belt. CO: Here is an unusual match up, two wrestlers coming together for a match... no feud, no title shot waiting, no women arguing, no history of violence... BR: I have heard of these matches, but I did not think they still went on. One Step Closer plays in the arena and out comes The Hitmen. Shawn Century, Scorpio, The Prankster, and a battle weary looking Joker walk to ringside. Scorpio enters the ring and takes the mike away from ring announcer Michael Shanks. Scorpio: The dawning of a new era has arisen in the wrestling world. No, it's because of the birth of Golden State Wrestling, it's because The Hitmen are going to lead Golden State Wrestling into the top promotion the world has ever seen! We are going to take out anybody that stands in our way. We are going to make an impact in the wrestling world. Tonight one Rich Ca$h is standing in my way. I want everyone to watch what happens to him. Taking the mike back Michael Shanks announces: From New York, weighting 250 pounds... Scorpio! CO: There we go, a nice 4 on 1 match now things are making sense, Pink Floyd's "Money" starts playing. MS: And coming down the ramp way, from Wall Street, weighting 275 pounds... Rich Ca$h! Rich Ca$h walks to the ring waving a stack of bills at the crowd teasing them. BR: Hey I could use some of that. They say money can not buy happiness, but in Las Vegas... CO: Wow referee Tom Birch is ordering the other hitmen back to the dressing room. BR: Maybe we will see the rare one on one match up. The two wrestlers meet in the center of the ring, lock up, and Rich's power allow an early advantage with a body slam followed by a brutal series of kicks. Scorpio makes the ropes and referee Tom forces Rich to stop. Scorpio takes no rest and locks back up, as Rich goes for another slam Scorpio counters with an arm drag takedown and locks on the arm bar. Rich breaks the arm bar with a rake to the eyes, the referee yells at Rich and he pleads innocents. They go to lock up and Rich sneaks in a quick punch, then they began brawling till they get pushed into the ropes, ref forces the break and Rich lands a low blow while the ref is in Scorpio's way. Taking advantage Rich continues with a reversed atomic drop, gut buster, back breaker, and then a bear hug. Tom checks but Scorpio refuses to give it up. Scorpio counters with double ear slap, runs into the ropes and hits a flying forearm, goes to the second rope and drops a missed elbow. Rich goes for his Wall Street Crash, and Scopio blocks, Rich switches move and lands a sloppy power slam, ref counts 1,2, kick out. Rich jumps up and pulls out the wad of cash he was waving at the fans and offers it to the ref, the ref knocks the money away and it goes everywhere, sneaking up on the enraged Rich, Scorpio hits his Stinger and covers 1,2,3 ding, ding MS: And your winner at seven minutes ten seconds, Scorpio! CO: That was a good solid match. I like to see some straight matches no angles once in awhile. BR: And I like the bonus I grabbed. -comercial- Micheal Shanks is in the ring,with a mic. DING!DING!DING! MS:"And now ladies and gentleman....the MAIN EVENT!... Featuring 2 superstars who earlier tonight poved,they are what champions are made of. The arena dims and "BOOM"begins to play,as Tommy makes his way to the ring as the crowd boos. MS:"Making his way to the ring,weighing 187 pounds,from London,England...Tommy Bedlam! Then the music quits,and the mystery man walks to the ring. Bedlam charges him connecting with a closeline,the man grabs bedlam and takes him down and applies a leg lock,bedlam reaches the ropes,MM puls TM up and sends him into the ropes,TB comes backwith a flying lariat,he covers him,1. only 1.Both men reach they're feet,and begin to brawl,right,left,right eachman shares a blow after blow.Bedlam swings,MM ducks and locks in a tazzmission,TB falls to the ground,MM aplies harder,TB starts to fade,the ref raises his hand 1,again 2, again...,no Tb keeps it up and begins to stand,he reaches his feet,turns sideways and lands an elbow to the gut,MM still keeps it in,elbow again,still keeps it on,soTB lifts him up and lands a back body drop.TB gets runs to the ,bounces off,and tries for a leg drop ,nobody home,TB lays in pain as MM picks him up and executes a reverse ddt,he then climbs the ropes and goes for a moonsault,he connects then goes for the cover,1..2..kick out,the men reach their feet after laying their for a momment,TB hits a kick to the gut,then a piledriver,TB gets to his feet and hits a lionsault,1..2..kickout,MM locks in a ankle lock,the mystery man twist and twist,TB agonizes,he tries for the rope but can't make it,then suddenly the MM thrust his hands sideways,and let's go,Bedlam grabs his ankle and screams in pain,the ref checks his ankle then motions for parimedics,they come down the ramp with a stretcher,the mystery man looks from the corner,as the ref goes to Michael Shanks and whispers something. CO:"Fans this doesn't look good for Tommy Bedlam,he's given us his all tonight,this looks bad. BR:I agree,this shows just how sadestic this...this man is,I have... Michael Shanks cuts in:Ladies and Gentlemen,Senior Referee Fred Conner has informed me that Mr.Bedlam is in no condition to continue, (bell rings)so your winner in 6:24 and the new GSW LIGHTWEIGHT CHAMPION... CO:Wait look at the ramp Tommy Bedlam is coming back. TB slides in the ring and walks to the corner where the mystery man stands on the middle turnbuckle displaying the belt,TB grabs him and rolls him up,1..2..3 ding ding TB grabs the belt and begins to walk up the ramp but is stoped by Mr.Joker. Joker:"Tommy I would love to congadulate you...but I can't, you see Fred Conner said you are in no condition to compete,which if you think you can be my guest but GSW takes no responsibility,and that pinfall was after a bell sounded to end the match,and no other bell as sounded to restart it , so if I can here that bell I'll be on my way." Ding Ding TB angerly walks to the ring where he is met by a kick in the gut,the MM goes for a stunner,TB shoves him away,then goes for the MODIFIED TKO but the MM counters,kicks him in the gut,and delivers a INVERTED DDT,he covers,..1..2..3 Fred Conner hands the mystery man the belt who places it around his waist. MS:Ladies and Gentlemen your winner in a total of 7:01 and the *NEW GSW LIGHTWEIGHT CHAMPION*... The mystery man begins to pull off his mask -FADE-
